Kaleb Kozak and Richard Kemp take out Big Ben's Awards
19th December, 2011

Big Bens Boxing had its Awards Presentation at The Cove Hotel last night.

Kaleb Kozak won the Outstanding Achievement Award.  This capped off an amazing year for 15 y.o. Kozak, who won all four of his fights in 2011 (including the State Title), and achieved his Grade 6 (Brown) level last week.

Richard Kemp was inducted into Big Bens Hall of Fame.  The induction reflects his many years of contribution and service to Big Bens Boxing, particulary 2003/04 where he won 3 out of 5 professional fights.  Kemp's success as a professional fighter is all the more remarkable given that he had no experience in amateur or any other form of competition.

One of the many highlights of the day was 15 y.o. State Amateur champion Kaleb Kozak achieving his Grade 6 level (Brown).  Only 4 other boxers in Big Bens' 15-year history has attained this level or higher.
